Both. On your kickoff call we set two numbers together, a floor and a target, based on what you've made and what the market pays for your roles. Then when offers come in, we negotiate with you the whole way: when an offer is strong we'll say so, and when it comes in low we'll often tell you to hold out, since plenty of clients end up choosing between offers. Clients regularly end up signing well above their floor.
Go right ahead, plenty of clients do, and here's the part that matters: if you take a job we didn't find, you owe nothing beyond the deposit. No success fee at all. The shared sheet keeps us from double-applying, and if you spot a role you like, send it over and your recruiter will apply for you.
Anything you're already in before you start with us is yours. We list those out in your agreement on day one, so there's never a question later of whose lead was whose.
